DePaolo, Valerie

Valerie DePaolo graduated from Southington High School in 1979. During her outstanding basketball career, she became the all-time leading scorer at Southington. DePaolo led her teams in rebounding, assists, and garnered 1,330 career points and 1,074 career rebounds. DePaolo lettered in and was captain of three-varsity sports teams at Southington. She was named first-team All-Colonial Conference three years, First Team All-State two years, Prep All-American and Converse All-American in 1979. She received a full basketball scholarship to the University of Massachusetts.
